Experience

Julia has a lifetime connection to the spiritual and therapeutic process.

At 11 years old, Julia became conscious of her vocation, which led her to seek therapy for herself from the age of 15, primarily in the jungian way.

"If I want to help others understand themselves, I must understand myself first," was her leading thought.

Julia then went to Brown University, in Rhode Island, USA, where she achieved a double Bachelors degree with Honors in Psychology and in Religious Studies in 2014. Her Honors Thesis was an independent project arguing for the inclusion of spirituality in psychotherapy; an approach based on the analytical psychology of C. G. Jung.

She first began to gain clinical experience in 2014 at Stillpoint Spaces in Berlin, a collaborative clinic compounded of therapists from different fields, ages, nationalities and backgrounds. At the same time, Julia was completing her MA in Psychoanalysis at the IPU (International Psychoanalytic University of Berlin), which she concluded in 2017.

When Julia moved to London in 2017, she completed a Foundation Course in a Jungian Institute.

From 2018 to 2023, Julia was a volunteer befriending the elderly with AgeUK, whose company she particularly enjoys.

Julia opened her private practice in 2021 and is consistently under clinical supervision.

She is actively engaged with charities offering freelance and pro bono support.

Julia is a certified Graduate Member of the BPS (British Psychological Society), with Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership.
